The pre-war BMW 328, with its combination of speed, racing history, comfort and a stunning design, can lay claim to being the ultimate classic sports car.
The 328 has a fascinating story. It was pivotal to BMW’s pre-war development and achieved huge success in pre-war motor racing. It was also an intriguing example of Anglo-German co-operation, both before and after World War Two, with the English sports car marque Frazer Nash.
This website serves two purposes, first, to tell potential owners a little about the about the pre-war 328 and second, as something of a valedictory to Alastair Pugh and his 328, HTU 446.
